Inventory
You may choose to assign this task to an office manager or you may choose to be hands-on and handle inventory yourself. We use a combination approach. Our medical assistants keep tabs on our inventory of medical supplies (i.e. bandages, exam table paper, and the like) while our administrative assistants let us know when we are in need of stationery, cleaning supplies, or other front-office items. We highly recommend having one person do the majority of the ordering to avoid excess supply/redundancy. As for vaccines, we have been using Vaxcare, which electronically keeps track of our vaccine inventory and sends us more when we are running low (and pays us!)
